Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne is known as providing the quintessential Miami experience. Known primarily as a tight-knit community for well to do members of society the area also has many wealthy and notable residents owning vacation homes on the Island. Former President Richard Nixon is was known for maintaining vacation homes in Key Biscayne. This area is an excellent choice for residents as well as investors as real estate values have continuously risen since construction on the island and as Miami has grown.

Residents of the island enjoy access to a unique collection of local shops, restaurants and an ambiance which resembles a small-town type of charm. The area is known for its safety, good schools, privacy and exceptional views of the sunrise and sunsets. The island is home to both Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and Crandon Park Beach. Key Biscayne also has its own marina which serves as central point to access southern Miami Dade County and the Miami Beach Islands by boat.

Key Biscayne is about 10 minutes from mainland Miami and is accessible only via the Rickenbacker Causeway located at the edge of Brickell. Residents in Key Biscayne live in a mix of large single family homes and gated condo communities. As one of Miami’s most desirable areas and drawing both a local and international residents nearly all single family homes on the island are priced well into the sever figure price range.
