Downtown Miami

Downtown Miami is the area known as East of I-95 and is bordered by the Miami River to the south and the 395 expressway to the North. This area is known for its numerous entertainment options, high-rise luxury condos and commercial activity. Downtown Miami is the home of the Miami Heat, Perez Art Museum, Bayfront Park, Bayside, Freedom Tower and the soon to be built Paramount Miami Worldcenter complex. Residents here can expect an active lifestyle with a multitude of dining and entertainment options a short walk or Uber ride away.

Residents living in one of the luxury high-rises of Downtown Miami can expect sweeping views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, the port of Miami, picturesque sunsets to the west and much more. Most of the buildings in this area are 40+ stories high with many offering valet services. Since the mid 2000’s residents and investors have poured into Downtown Miami making way for several new restaurants, shops, lounges and nightlife options.

Defined as Miami “proper” the area of Downtown Miami is 5 minutes from Brickell and Midtown/Edgewater, 10-15 minutes from Coconut Grove and Coral Gables and 10-15 minutes from Miami Beach. The majority of residents living in Downtown Miami are young single professionals or with small families. There is also a large international presence in the area.
