Coral Gables

Coral Gables, known as “The City Beautiful” was established in the early 1900’s by George Merrick – one of Miami’s first pioneers. Today the city is known as one of the most desirable areas to live in the nation. Throughout the area it’s historical roots can be seen in the picturesque Mediterranean style mansions, tree lined roads, perfect landscaping and winding roads.

Residents in Coral Gables can claim to have it all. From high end shopping at The Village of Merrick Park, to leisurely strolls down Miracle Mile, parks scattered throughout the city, waterfront homes and numerous corporate offices housing some of the nation’s most well respected companies there is truly no need for the Coral Gables resident to leave the area. Some of the main attractions in the area include the famous Biltmore Hotel, several museums, theater options and the Venetian Pool. The City Beautiful is known to have a large collection of upscale dining options with residents all over Miami frequenting the area to dine at its well-known restaurants. The area is also home to the University of Miami.

On the North side of Coral Gables residents live in either single family homes, condos or townhouses with easy access to the business areas of Miracle Mile and US 1. The south side of Coral Gables offers a little more privacy with the majority of residents living in large single family homes with some featuring direct ocean views.

Coral Gables borders Coconut Grove on its East side and Pinecrest to the south. The Gables is about a 10-15 minute drive from Brickell and Downtown Miami and around 25 minutes from Miami Beach.
