Brickell
Brickell is known as the epicenter of commercial and nightlife activity in mainland Miami. In this vibrant area residents can easily walk to a large selection of fine dining and casual restaurants, shopping, lounges, nightclubs, cafes and much more all within 5 minutes. The grand majority of residences in the Brickell area are luxury buildings offering views of the city as well as Biscayne Bay, Key Biscayne, downtown Miami and beyond. The majority of residents here are either single or married without children. There is a strong local presences as well as a large percentage of international residents in the area.
Over the last 10 years the Brickell area has experienced an unprecedented boom as investment has poured into the area. Large scale projects such as Mary Brickell Village and Brickell City Center have created a 24 hour lifestyle similar to what residents can experience in Manhattan. As the financial center of Miami, Brickell offers plenty of employment opportunities in the banking/financial services, insurance, law and real estate sectors.
Brickell is conveniently located 5 minutes from Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Downtown Miami and 15 minutes from South Beach. The Brickell area is tradi- tionally split into 3 areas. South Brickell lies between SE 15th St and the Rickenbacker Causeway, this area is mostly residential mid-rise towers with low commercial activity. West Brickell lies between the Metrorail line and I-95 and is known for low to mid-rise towers with a recent boom in mid-rise towers and commercial activity. East of the Metrorail line, North of SE 15th Street and up to the Miami River is known as the Financial Area of Brickell. This is known as the core area of Brickell and is where the corporate office buildings, high rise residential towers, hotels, restaurants and more are located. This is the most popular zone in Brickell.
